Travel Tips

Introduction to Japan
Japan offers a unique travel experience that blends ancient traditions with modern innovations. Expect world-class infrastructure, impeccable cleanliness, and a culture that values respect, politeness, and precision.

Meals
Japanese meals are often served individually, with each person receiving their own set of dishes. Meals may include rice, miso soup, pickled vegetables, and a variety of seafood, meats, and vegetables. Traditional Japanese cuisine, such as sushi, tempura, and ramen, is highly recommended for an authentic experience.

Baggage Information
Limit baggage to 20kg for checked luggage and 5kg for hand luggage. Ensure that electronic devices with lithium batteries are carried in your hand luggage. Baggage restrictions are strict, especially on domestic flights and bullet trains.

Shopping & Purchases
Japan is known for its high-quality goods, from electronics to traditional crafts. Be aware of customs and shipping charges if you plan to ship items back home. Tax-free shopping is available for tourists; just bring your passport when making purchases.

Hotel Check-in
Hotel check-in is generally from 2 pm. If arriving earlier, luggage may be stored at the hotel so you can begin exploring immediately.

Departure Tax
Japan's departure tax, known as the "sayonara tax," is included in your airline ticket. There’s no need to pay separately on departure.

Starting Your Tour
Arrive at the departure airport 3 hours prior to your flight if online check-in is not available. It's advisable to carry a small amount of Japanese yen in cash along with your credit/debit cards for convenience upon arrival.

Internal/Domestic Travel
Internal travel, including bullet trains and domestic flights, is arranged locally, with guides assisting you at check-in. Always keep your passport with you, as it's required for identification and for accessing some services.
