Itinerary

Day 1: Depart Australia
Depart from Australia and onward to Beijing.

Day 2-4: Beijing

  • Day 2: Arrive in Beijing, meet your local guide, transfer to hotel.

  • Day 3: Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven. Enjoy a rickshaw ride and Peking duck dinner.

  • Day 4: Walk the Great Wall at Juyongguan Pass, visit Jade Factory and Summer Palace, watch an acrobatics show.

Day 5-6: Xian

  • Day 5: Fly to Xian, visit Xian Museum.

  • Day 6: Explore Terracotta Warriors, city walls, Muslim Quarter, and enjoy a Tang Dynasty dancing show.

Day 7-10: Yangtze River Cruise

  • Day 7: Fly to Yichang, board cruise ship.

  • Day 8: Visit Three Gorges Dam.

  • Day 9: Excursion through Shennong Stream or Goddess Stream.

  • Day 10: Visit Jade Emperor Scenic Area.

Day 11-12: Guilin

  • Day 11: Disembark in Chongqing, visit Panda House, take bullet train to Guilin.

  • Day 12: Cruise on Li River to Yangshuo, visit local markets.

Day 13: Yangshuo, Guilin


Explore countryside, visit Reed Flute Cave and South China Pearl Factory.

Day 14-16: Shanghai

  • Day 14: Fly to Shanghai, visit Shanghai Museum and People’s Square.

  • Day 15: Visit Yu Garden, Old Town, The Bund, Silk Factory, and Xintiandi. Enjoy Huangpu River cruise.

  • Day 16: Free day to explore Shanghai.

Day 17-19: Hong Kong

  • Day 17: Fly to Hong Kong, transfer to hotel.

  • Day 18: Hong Kong tour including Stanley Market, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Repulse Bay, Victoria Peak.

  • Day 19: Discover Lantau Island, visit Grand Buddha, Po Lin Monastery, Tai O village.

Day 20: Depart Hong Kong
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Travel Tips

Introduction to China
China offers a unique travel experience with diverse sights, smells, and cultural practices. Expect varying standards of infrastructure and facilities compared to the West.

Meals
Chinese meals are communal, with dishes shared among the group. Each setting includes a bowl of rice, chopsticks, a soup spoon, and a saucer. Local cuisine is recommended for the best experience.

Baggage Information
Limit baggage to 20kg for checked luggage and 5kg for hand luggage. Electronic devices with lithium batteries should be carried in hand luggage.

Shopping & Purchases
Be aware of customs and shipping charges for items shipped back home. Seatbelts are not compulsory by law in China, so use them when available.

Hotel Check-in
Check-in is generally from 2 pm. If arriving earlier, luggage may be stored while you start touring.

Departure Tax
Included in your ticket, no need to pay separately on departure.

Starting Your Tour
Arrive at the departure airport 3 hours prior to departure if online check-in is not available. Carry Sterling or US Dollars cash along with credit/debit cards.

Internal/Domestic Flights
Arranged locally, with guides assisting at check-in. Keep passports with you at all times due to local regulations.
